A selection of images from last week’s shoot for the Grassmarket Community Project. Tristan and Finlay, The Kilted Yogis, came along to support the Greyfriars Tartan social enterprise in kilts made by 21st Century Kilts.

Scottish Apprenticeship Week is an annual campaign to showcase how apprenticeships work for businesses, individuals and the economy. Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce’s “Developing the Young Workforce” team brought groups of young people to St Mary’s Cathedral as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2017. As well as discovering more about the Cathedral’s Workshop Project, there was the opportunity to get some hands on experience. We were also given the chance climb the bell tower and see the Edinburgh city skyline from an unusual perspective.
Developing the Young Workforce, Scotland’s Youth Employment Strategy asks business to be more involved in shaping and recruiting youth talent. Educators and businesses work together to create a skilled workforce for Scotland’s future. The event is open to school and college leavers and any young person who has left school in the last 3 years. This years events took place in Newbattle Abbey College, The Corn Exchange in Haddington and The Hub in Edinburgh…
