The Chamber Awards Launch was held in the Double Tree Hilton Skybar.
Now in their 5th Year, the awards are open to all sectors of the business community, from established companies to up and coming entrepreneurs.
Thanks to everyone at the Edinburgh Chamber and Double Tree Hilton.
Unusually today’s event involved three speakers. Jo Dow of Business Stream, Mally Graveson of Heehaw and Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport shared their thoughts on stepping out of our comfort zone in business, of finding new and better ways of doing things and taking risks – introduced by Scott Black, MD FWB Park Brown.
Organised by Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and hosted by The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
With a business philosophy of “Unique and Best” this was always going to be interesting. Thanks to
Oli, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce for organising the event and Double Tree Hilton for hosting.
“From a backyard brainstorm to the driving force in a multibillion-dollar industry.”

It’s always a pleasure to visit The Royal College of Surgeons – such a great location. Never thought listening to a man talk about trains over breakfast would be so interesting – Phil was engaging, passionate about customer service and entertaining – thanks!
A few shots of the Russian Standard Vodka sponsored Hub Sessions. An afternoon of free samples outside the Hub, then onto the evening proper – Russian Mules, King Creosote and
“From Scotland with Love”.
Another great Edinburgh Chamber Event – held in the Mansion House at Edinburgh Zoo. A top notch barbecue, a few cold beers and a “Sing in the City” flash mob to kick the evening off. Even the weather was kind!
