The Edinburgh Whisky Stramash is held at Surgeon’s Hall and this year includes exhibits from Glenfiddich and Deanston distilleries as well as a speakeasy and a molecular mixology feature. In addition to the huge number of whiskys on offer, there’s music, food and even a barber shop.

The Fishermen’s Mutual Association (Pittenweem) Ltd is the co-operative for fishermen operating out of the East Neuk of Fife, on the Firth of Forth in Scotland. Established in 1948, the F.M.A. is based in the traditional fishing village of Pittenweem, where it maintains the infrastructure that supports the thriving, local fishing industry. Owned by local fishermen, the F.M.A. plays an important role in supporting the sustainable exploitation of the natural marine resources that have supported the East Neuk of Fife for over 800 years.
