Inspiring People, Enabling Growth: Edinburgh Business Conference 2017 with Andrew Kerr and Andrew Burns, held in the City Chambers.
Following introductions by Andrew Kerr and Andrew Burns, delegates attended a series of workshops on The Living Wage presented by Kat Brogan of Mercat Tours, Flexible Working with Rebecca Mackenzie-Smith of Primate and Developing People and Talent with Standard Life’s Mark Smith.
A few images from the Grassmarket Community Project’s Burns Night Fundraiser event which included a brilliant address to the Haggis by Tommy Steel. Guests also enjoyed a whisky tasting with Julie from the Scotch Whisky Experience and Linda from Mercat Tours shared some of Edinburgh’s dark history. There were some great donations for the raffle and auction from Alexander McCall Smith, Invisible Edinburgh, Duff’s Den, MY Adventure, Greyfriars Tartan, Grassmarket Furniture, Edinburgh Gin, Tom Kitchin, Mamma’s Edinburgh, O’ Oliviero, El Toro Loco, The Bakers Arms, Fabhatrix, Walker Slater and The Experience..
